Calling All Coaches!

Who’s ready for some softball?! We are seeking individuals who are interested in coaching at all levels this spring season.

We know the ask is BIG and you may be hesitant because you don’t feel you have enough knowledge to run drills or demonstrate technique. Well, we can help you! The Players’ and Coaches’ Development Committee has organized an exciting and informative opportunity to learn some skills and techniques from ELHS Varsity Coach, Jenna Webb. Coach Webb will be bringing some of her varsity players to demonstrate proper technique, demonstrate drills, etc.

We are pleased to be able to present this complimentary Coaches’ Clinic to all coaches on our staff who coached in 2023 (and plan to return) and any new coaches ready to commit. This is a great way for coaches to learn proper techniques and how to instruct our players.

Here are the details:

When: February 12th
Where: East Longmeadow High School Gym
Time: 8U – 10U Coaches 6-7pm
12U – 14U Coaches 7-8pm

RETURNING COACHES: All returning coaches must register through the website by visiting the Become A Coach page on www.elyouthsoftball.org by February 6th to allow enough time to run background checks and verify documents before the preseason begins. NEW COACHES: Please feel confident that our seasoned coaching staff is always available to help you put together practice ideas and support you as you help grow our softball community. Additionally, Little League has put together a 12 week practice plan and guide for the Tee Ball and 8U divisions. You will have access to these guides to assist you with practice planning.
